One of the most common things we hear is:
“I don’t like these lines around my mouth.”
“People keep asking if I’m tired.”
“I’ve lost a lot of weight and my face just doesn’t look the same anymore.”
“I feel like I look older than I feel.”
Those are exactly the kinds of conversations we like to have.
At Storm Wellness Northwest, we don’t start by asking which product you think you need.
We start by understanding what you’re hoping to achieve—and what’s changed that’s making you feel that way.
Rejuvenation isn’t about looking younger.
It’s about looking healthier, more rested, and more like the person you feel you are.
Over time, our faces naturally change.
- Muscles become stronger in certain areas, creating expression lines.
- Fat pads slowly shift and shrink.
- Bone structure changes.
- Skin loses collagen and elasticity.
- Blood vessels become more visible.
- Pigmentation accumulates from years of sun exposure.
Most people don’t notice one dramatic change. They simply wake up one day and think, “I just look tired.”
The truth is, there isn’t one magic treatment.
The good news is that there are several different tools that can each address a different part of the aging process.
We start by talking about the outcome you’re hoping to achieve. Maybe you want to look more rested. Maybe you’d like your skin to look healthier. Maybe you miss some of the facial volume you’ve lost over time. Or maybe you simply want to soften a few changes without looking like you’ve had “work done.”
Once we understand your goals, we can determine why those changes are happening. Only then do we decide whether neurotoxin, filler, biostimulation, laser therapy, skincare—or sometimes no treatment at all—is the best way to help you get there.

Think of aesthetics like home renovation.
If a house needs a new roof, fresh paint, and foundation work, you wouldn’t solve everything by painting the front door. Facial rejuvenation works the same way. Different concerns require different solutions.
That’s why we spend so much time during consultation deciding what actually needs attention—and what doesn’t.
Sometimes the answer is neurotoxin.
Sometimes it’s filler.
Sometimes it’s a biostimulator.
Sometimes it’s laser treatment.
Sometimes it’s simply better skincare.
And occasionally, the most honest recommendation is not to add another treatment at all.
If we believe another approach—or even a surgical consultation—is more likely to help you achieve your goals, we’ll tell you that. Our job isn’t to sell a syringe. It’s to recommend the treatment that gives you the best chance of achieving the outcome you’re looking for.
Neurotoxin (Xeomin®, Jeuveau®)
Neurotoxins temporarily relax specific muscles. They don’t fill wrinkles. Instead, they soften the repeated muscle movements that create them.
They’re excellent for areas like:
- Forehead lines
- Frown lines between the eyebrows
- Crow’s feet
- Lip flip
- Chin dimpling
- Neck bands in selected patients
By reducing muscle activity, the overlying skin has an opportunity to smooth out, often making patients look more rested without looking “frozen.” When done thoughtfully, people usually notice that you look refreshed—not that you’ve had something done.
Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers replace volume that has naturally been lost over time.
As we age, the face gradually loses some of its structural support. This can lead to:
- Flattened cheeks
- Under-eye hollowing
- Deeper smile lines
- Marionette lines
- Thinning lips
- Less jawline definition
Not all fillers work the same way.
Hyaluronic Acid Fillers
Hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers restore volume immediately by replacing what has been lost. They’re often an excellent choice for areas where we want soft, precise correction, such as the lips, tear troughs, or specific facial contours.
The results are visible right away, although they continue to settle over the following weeks.
Biostimulating Fillers
Some fillers do more than simply replace lost volume.
Biostimulating fillers, such as Radiesse®, provide immediate structural support while also encouraging your body to produce both collagen and elastin over time.
Collagen provides strength and structure to the skin, while elastin helps the skin remain resilient and spring back after movement. As we age, production of both gradually declines, contributing to volume loss, skin laxity, and changes in facial contours.
Because Radiesse works in two ways—providing support today while stimulating your body’s own collagen and elastin production—it can be an excellent option for patients looking for gradual, natural-looking rejuvenation.
Rather than simply filling a space, biostimulating fillers help rebuild some of your skin’s underlying support. Results continue to develop over the following months as your body responds to treatment.
Whether we recommend a hyaluronic acid filler, a biostimulating filler, or a combination of both depends on your facial anatomy, your concerns, and the outcome you’re hoping to achieve.
Less is usually more
One of the biggest misconceptions in aesthetics is that more product equals better results. In reality, the opposite is often true.
The most natural outcomes usually happen gradually. Small adjustments. Time to heal. Reassessment. Another small adjustment if needed.
Our philosophy is to preserve your unique facial features—not erase them. You should still look like yourself. Just a little more rested. A little healthier. A little brighter.
So…which one do you need?
Maybe none. That’s the honest answer.
Every face ages differently. Every patient has different goals. That’s why consultations matter.
Rather than choosing a product first, we start by understanding what you’re seeing in the mirror. Then we identify why it’s happening. Only then do we decide whether neurotoxin, filler, biostimulation, laser therapy, skincare—or simply time—is the right recommendation.
Because rejuvenation isn’t about chasing youth. It’s about helping your face continue to reflect the energy, health, and confidence you already have.
